The 4th of July in DeBordieu Colony is a wonderful time filled with families and friends of all ages celebrating our nation’s freedom and independence.
Parade Schedule: Saturday, July 4th
- 9 AM Parade Line-Up (Intersection Of DeBordieu & Luvan Blvd)
- 10 AM Parade Begins
Parade Guidelines
- As a reminder, it is a violation of South Carolina law to consume alcohol while operating any participating vehicles.
- Water balloons, power-assisted water delivery devices (hoses connected to spigots or powered by gas- or electric-powered pumps) or “super soakers” are prohibited.
- The July 4th parade is a community-wide, multigenerational event. Please consider appropriate clothing options for viewing by all participants.
- Entertainment, enjoyment and SAFETY for all are the goals of this celebration.
Reminders
- Contractors will not be allowed access into DeBordieu on Friday, July 3. Please reschedule regular maintenance work.
- The DCCA Administration Office will be closed Friday, July 3.
- Fireworks are strictly prohibited in DeBordieu Colony and on the beach.
