Community Spring Reminders
Spring is here, and with the weather warming up, members, family, and friends are out and about enjoying our beautiful community. Please be mindful of the following:
- DOGS– Please be respectful of your neighbors. Clean up after your pets, and dispose of their waste properly. Dogs must be leashed and controlled by their owners at all times. When dogs are on the beach, they must be leashed from 9 AM to 7 PM. During other hours, dogs must be under voice control and kept away from turtle nesting areas at all times. Pet waste bags are available at the Tennis Center, the Beach Club Access, and Walkways No. 6 and 12. Please do not dispose of the bags on your neighbor’s undeveloped lots.
- GOLF CARTS– Operation of golf carts is limited to daylight hours only, even if the cart is equipped with lights. Golf cart operators must have a valid driver’s license in their possession and be at least 16 years old. Keep hands and feet inside the cart, and no more occupants than the number of seats. DeBordieu Safety & Security strictly enforces these regulations.
- LOW SPEED VEHICLES(LSV’s)– LSV’s must be registered with the DMV and driven on roads. They are prohibited on the path from Wallace Pate Drive to the Golf Clubhouse.
- GOLF CARTS and LSV’s must be registered with the DCCA Administration Office.
- SHARE THE ROADS– Please obey our speed limits at all times. The speed limit on all roads is 25 mph unless otherwise noted. Please reduce your speed and be cautious while passing children at play, bicycles, golf carts, and walking/jogging/running pedestrians.
