Welcome

The DeBordieu Colony Community Association (DCCA) is governed by a twelve member Board of Directors, which sets policy for our community. Your Board is composed of hard-working and dedicated volunteers, your neighbors, who are elected by you. We encourage you to attend all our open Board meetings, which are typically held on the third Saturday of each month.

Getting Started!

Beach

"At the beach, life is different. Time doesn't move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun. " - Sandy Gingras

Our owners and guests enjoy direct access to miles of unspoiled and secluded beach. DeBordieu owners take the responsibility to preserve one of our community's greatest assets seriously. Creek

" Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after." - Thoreau

DeBordieu Colony is a special place situated such that we enjoy exclusive direct access to a creek and marsh, with access to North Inlet and its estuaries. Click this link to learn more about the 2018-19 dredging project.

Wildlife

"The farther one gets into the wilderness, the greater is the attraction of its lonely freedom." -Theodore Roosevelt

One of DeBordieu Colony’s greatest attractions has always been its natural beauty. DeBordieu Colony has unique and diverse ecosystems which offer permanent and/or migratory homes for numerous species of birds, fish, reptiles, mammals and plants. Our intricate system of freshwater and brackish water ponds and wetlands are the intrinsic link that provides the balance for wildlife to prosper.
