The DeBordieu beach nourishment/groin permit application was submitted to the state and federal regulatory agencies in mid-November, 2017. The permit was then put out on public notice for comments with the comment period ending in late December. Letters received by the US Army Corps of Engineers are then provided to CSE, the DCCA consulting engineer, for answers to questions and comments. The permitting process is expected to take several years.
