Canal Dredging Update – Friday, December 21, 2018

The Dredge crew continues to make good progress. Today will be the last day for pumping as the Christmas shutdown will begin with this evening’s shift and will continue through Wed. Dec. 26th; returning to work on Thursday, Dec. 27th.

The Dredge will be stored on the starboard side of the canal just east of the community crabbing docks and the pipeline will be on the bottom of the canal so as to accommodate boat traffic.

Boaters, are reminded to be aware of the dredge pipeline in the creek and navigate with care.
